Souni Evergreen

The areas main characteristic is the conservation of the pine forest. Souni is an expanding area with a current planned total of approximately 5,000 new homes. It has attracted many developers resulting in the construction of different style of dwelling most of which are finished either or not in part with local stone. As Souni expands the local infrastructure will develop to provide the facilities required by the growing population. The village now has two kiosks, an “English style” Pub serving drinks and food, an “English style” Tea Room, a Hair Dresser and Cypriot run Coffee Shop/Restaurant.

Souni is, currently, the most popular location for purchasers within the Limassol area and is attraction new residents from England, Eastern Europe and Cyprus itself.

Souni is ideally situated. Whilst the village is off the tourist track, its close proximity to the main highway affords easy access to both the new airport at Paphos (40 minutes) and the airport at Larnaca (60 minutes). Limassol, the Island’s second largest town, is just 20 minutes by car. The village of Episkopi where you can obtain all your day to day needs is 10 minutes drive, and the local beaches at Curium are just 15 minutes from the village. The mountains of the Troodos are about 60 minutes drive to the North.

This gives Souni the advantage of a peaceful living style, quick access to theatres, cinemas, restaurants, other social & cultural attractions and access to tourist areas.
